I am a French developer. I have been writting programs for 14 years now in different object oriented languages.
I began with C++, then Java and WebObject.
In February 2006, I discovered Ruby On Rails.
I finally found a powerful OO framework to build a professional website, like a desktop application more easily than using a Java Application Server.
I created Xilinus, first of all, for myself. I wanted to be able to access my bookmarks from anywhere. There are already some websites
like the famous del.icio.us.
But I like to be able to save my bookmarks using folder (and using tags of course).
So I decided to do this website and now I have what I was looking for.
It was also a good way for me to learn Rails/Ajax and to show what
I can do with these technologies.
I decided to open the access to everybody. Maybe I am not the only one earth who wants to save their bookmarks like this. Feel free to use it. It is free and it will be always free.
This is a beta version but all current features are working and I am working on some more.
